National Night Out was last night and part of our street got together for a fun night of barbecue! It was actually quite cool and very windy, but we still had a great turn out. We had a great time talking and meeting those that we didn't know. Everyone brought meat to grill and a side dish for all to share. We got the street blocked off so the kids could run around and stay safe, they thought that was so cool. One of our towns police officers came and hung out with us for the evening and then several other police officers came by and let the kids get in and look around his car. Right before the party was over one of the firetrucks and firefighters came by. That was so neat for the kids, but I loved looking in it too.
It was a great night, we can't wait till next years night out!

Must not have too "national" because we had our "National Night Out" in August! Looks like you guys had a good time though!
