I finally got around to taking the girls to see 'The Big Guy' aka Santa this year today! Boy have times sure changed, you no longer actually wait in line to see Santa anymore. Well, you still wait in line, but it is all ON-line. You sign in to see Santa via the internet now. It actually worked great for us, we were only outside waiting for him for 10 minutes...score! I still just think it is so weird! This Big Guy has been our beloved Santa since Kathryn was a little baby. We first took Kathryn to see him when she was 2 months old. He was just so precious with her and has continued to be every year since then! Lauren has started her tradition visiting the Big Guy since she was a baby too. She didn't exactly enjoy seeing him the last 2 years, but she actually seemed to enjoy herself this year! He is just so sweet. He came out and said hi and gave hugs before his line opened. It was great to warm Lauren up! She didn't exactly smile, but she didn't scream either! They got several shots, but the last one of him loving on her was my fav! She was so proud of herself after we left and talked about seeing Santa all day! Of course, my sweet little Kathryn is a pro. She loves him! She walked right up and started chatting about anything and everything! Kathryn wants a computer and Lauren wants a doll like sissy! He didn't make any promises, but we shall see in just a little over one more day!
