Our little eel a.k.a. Kathryn has become such an awesome little swimmer! She has far exceeded any expectations of what we hoped she would accomplish this summer. She loves, loves, loves to go swimming. If it was up to her we would be at the pool every day all day. She can now go under water by herself, she learned to blow bubbles through her nose. She can float on her back alone for a few seconds and she has even swam (doggy paddled) alone for a few seconds without floats. She loves to jump in and swim to us like a frog...rippit, rippit! We signed her up at the Y this year and we have just loved it so much. She has been so lucky and gotten 2 wonderful teachers that she has just adored. We are continuing another session with her since she is doing so good and having a ball. I know there is still alot for her to learn in the pool, but for right now we are just so proud of our little eel!
