Kathryn received the 'peace' award a few weeks ago at school! This is a character trait their teacher notices them showing at school and it is announced weekly at chapel. Kathryn was beyond thrilled! They get to keep the beloved penguin for a week at their desk. They also get to leave class and have ice cream with the principal, Mrs. Tucker at the end of the month. Kathryn could hardly wait for this day! It is such an neat way to recognize the kids. This is just one of the many things I absolutely love about her school! It just so happened that 2 of her best buddies in class received an award that month too, so they all got to go together! They are sweet girls!
