Kathryn told us she was now ready for some action!
We got there really early so we could be sure to get a chance to feed the dolphins. It was incredible! They got so close you could touch them & we were there early enough we got to feed them 4 baskets of fish. Kathryn loved it until one of the workers was warning people to keep their cameras back b/c you might get splashed. Well, after that she wouldn't even get close and was ready to move on.
We looked at almost every exhibit, rode some rides, went into Lost Lagoon but by far the best thing & our most anticipated part of the day was...SHAMU!
The Believe show exceeded our expectations. The killer whale is incredible. I got chill bumps and even shed a few tears (thanks Mom for the crying gene) during the show! The way the whales and their trainers would swim together and jump out of the water, O my Goodness, it was just awesome! Kathryn is so in love with Shamu now. She says now when she grows up she wants to swim and work with them, bye-bye to the superstar dream, well for today anyways. She did tell me she needs some more swimming lessons before she starts! Grumpy got her the Believe show on DVD and we are now on the 20th time watching it and we got her a Shamu doll, b/c for some reason we need a stuffed animal every where we go. So she has been swimming, diving and feeding Shamu all around the house. She might just get the act down soon! I am so happy she loved it so much! She is already asking when we get to go back!
