Kathryn is such a sweet girl! She is a great big sister, absolutely in love with Lauren. She tells me everyday how much she loves our new baby. She is full of energy, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch with me and have a little rest time. She is sassy and a little bossy, but unfortunately she comes by it honestly. She loves anything involving horses. Notice the pink cowboy boots? She got them in anticipation for her upcoming 4th birthday party at the horse park. She will be starting preschool again in 3 weeks. This year she is going 3 days a week Tues/Wed/Thurs and is so excited to be going upstairs with the big kids. Little does she know, she is now one of the big kids! She will also begin dance class in 2 weeks. She is so excited to take tap-tap and ballet this year. We gave gymnastics a shot and it just wasn't her thing. She is a such the little dancer, always moving and strutting her stuff. She is wanting to grow her hair out and I love it long. The only problem isletting me fix it. So we made a deal. As long as she lets me fix it, it will stay long. If she throws a fit and won't let me fix it, then we cut it short again. She brings such joy to our lives and no matter how tired I am every morning, there is nothing better than hearing...Mommy it is a bootiful day, the sun is up, the sun is up!
Lauren is such a sweet baby! She will be 6 months Thursday. I feel like I blinked and she grewup.She is sitting up all on her own and is starting to love playing with all her toys. She is ready to start chasing Kathryn around. Her eyes are focused on her sister about 95% of the day. I often wonder if she thinks she has 2 mommys? She is eating baby food so good. Well, fruit that is. She is not fond of the veggies, so we have some work to do. She only takes 4 bottles w/6 ounces in them a day., every 4 hours. She sleeps 12 hours at night. She is a great sleeper, well except for nap time. She will take 3 great naps if she is in her swing. She screams and screams if I lay her down in her crib. So until she outgrows, swing on girl. She blabbers and smiles all day. When she is not chewing on her slobber filled hands, she is trying to grab anything she can get her hands on. She is so happy to ride in the car as long as she can see Kathryn. We have moved her to the middle so her and Kathryn can hold hands. She loves to play in her exersaucer, as long as one of us is close by. Thank goodness for Kathryn, between me and her one of us is always close by. I love nothing more than getting her out of her bed in the morning and seeing the biggest smile ever. She brings so much more joy to our lives than we ever thought possible!
