Kathryn and Lauren have had a very lucky past 2 weekends, they have got to spend them with Great Grandparents! This is not something many children get, I only had one growing up, but the girls have 5...it is such a blessing for the girls and their great grandparents!
Last weekend Grandma June & Grandpa Ralph drove down from Missouri. They came over Friday evening and had dinner with us. It was a good time, but let me just tell you who had the best time...Lauren. She was so enthralled with Grandma June! She has given us a couple of smiles here and there, but she gave her probably 10 in 30 minutes. She couldn't stop from looking at her with smiles and talking to her. It was so precious & Grandma June definitely gained some bragging rights!
Today we took a day trip down to the farm to see Grandma Pauline & Grandpa Harvey. They were so anxious to see us and meet Lauren. We had such a fun day as we always do there. There is just something about being away from town on a beautiful day on lots of land with cows, dogs, etc. Kathryn has a ball there, she had been telling Lauren all about it yesterday and this morning. Lauren once again fell in love with her Great Grandma Pauline. Something about these Great Grandmas...I guess she knows just how sweet they are! She yet again start giving the smiles out! So precious!!!
We were so glad they all got to meet Lauren before she got much bigger, now we just need to plan a trip to Harlingen so Lauren can meet Great Grandmother Marjorie!
