Kathryn chose not to have a big party this year, instead she wanted to take 2 friends for a fun day out! It worked out great, because the Friday of her birthday week was early dismissal. Josh took the day off and we picked up Kathryn, Lainey & Ava up from school at 11! This was a present just in itself, waiting in car line with friends and walking out with them is just so cool! She knew exactly what she wanted to take them to do with her. We went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch, then Build a Bear, then walked around the mall to shop (so she thought...ha!), rode the carousel and got a cookie. The girls had so much fun and are so precious! It was just such an enjoyable day and an awesome way to celebrate her birthday! I will definitely be rooting for this from here on out!

I am SO thankful Granny & Papa met us at the mall to join in on the fun! Lauren was not a fan of the Rainforest Cafe and stayed secured in Papa's lap with her ears covered every time the animals would wake up! Thank goodness for Papa!
They came and sang to Kathryn and had her stand in her seat and cluck like a chicken! She loved it & we all had fun watching her cluck!

Carousel fun! They wanted on the spinny thing together and actually stayed pretty calm on it!
Then Saturday at noon we had our family over to celebrate! Kathryn requested pizza and a cookie cake that she had designed herself! She wanted 3 blue giant jellyfish with green, red & blue all around it. I'm not exactly sure where this design came from, but she drew it and they did a great job! We had a great afternoon celebrating our girl with our family! We are so blessed with an amazing family! We missed Grandpa, Uncle Steve & Aunt JJ!

What a FUN birthday party!! From start to finish it looked like a total blast. Can't believe your sweet girl is 7---that sounds so big! Glad y'all had a fun weekend celebrating!
